Rhythm & Me™

Parent - Infant/Toddler Musical Exploration!

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.”

- Victor Hugo

Creating a Bond through Rhythm!

Come experience the joy of making music with your infant or toddler. Active music-making is important for your child’s overall development. Together you will able to explore rhythm and music in a playful environment. You and your child will get to make and enjoy rhythm and song in our musical menagerie.

No prior musical experience necessary!!!

If you have a heart beat, you have rhythm!

Drumming is an excellent way for infants and toddlers to learn self-awareness, listening skills, coordination, cooperation and patience. Drumming, rhythm and song create a healthy environment for development. Drumming is also an effective way to engage children who have difficulty focusing and connecting with others. Rhythm-Based and Music-Based programs can also build valuable skills for processing and communicating information. Repetitive rhythm and motion have positive physiologically, cognitive and emotional effects, and can be a valuable aid to learning and growth.

Our Rhythm-Based Programs:

  • Increase ability to focus and to to stay "on task"

  • Develop self-awareness

  • Develop motor skills

  • Improve listening skills

  • Improve self-control, patience and cooperation

All levels of music skills are welcome. Drums and hand percussion will be provided by Positive RePercussions.
