Senior Rhythm Jam™ is where everyone is encouraged to play music and create rhythm and song!! Come & enjoy the experience of group music-making while making new friends. If you have played music all of your life; or if you have always wanted to play music; or if you just want to make new friends in a fun, encouraging environment; then this is your opportunity!

 

Music is beneficial for seniors because it allows individuals to reminisce and go back and relate to emotions and experiences. As people participate in music-making, they process the beats and the rhythms, and at the same time they are building relationships and community.

 

No prior musical experience necessary! If you have a heart beat, you have rhythm! All levels of music skills are welcome. Drums and hand percussion will be provided by Positive RePercussions.
