Positive RePercussionsâ„¢, LLC will open a new rhythm boutique, a recreational music-making, and group drumming center, in the Village on Siesta Key in March 2018. The celebration begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, presented by the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce, on March 8th. Come join us on Friday, March 9th, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM will be the Grand Opening Celebration.
Positive RePercussions believes that music should be not only valued as a form of entertainment but also as a vehicle for positive change. They use the power of music and rhythm to produce non-musical outcomes, by delivering research-based, high-quality, interactive, events and activities. Their non-threatening, interactive, hands-on activities encourage cooperation, communication, and wellness, through creative self-expression.
Positive RePercussions has recently relocated from Austin, TX, and has been providing evidence-based group drumming programs in numerous schools, libraries, recreational centers, after-school programs and retirement/assisted living facilities since 2007. The new group drumming center is located at 5049 Ocean Blvd. in the Village on Siesta Key. Positive RePercussions believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the power of active music-making, and have created this space to bring DRUMMING FUN FOR EVERYONE!!!â„¢

Positive RePercussions has drumming programs for all ages and stages. Positive RePercussions’ new group drumming center is the joint vision of Erik Dunton and Kim Scott. They believe if you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm!
Erik Dunton is a talented REMO® HealthRHYTHMS® Endorsed Group Drumming Facilitator, and Kimberly Scott is a caring REMO® HealthRHYTHMS® Trained Group Drumming Facilitator and a Trained Juvenile Restorative Justice, Inc. (JRJ) Circle Facilitator. They have a passion for using the power of music to make positive changes in individuals lives, achieving specific measurable outcomes.
